Basic Men's Socks - cast on!

I'm making a basic pair of socks for the hubby; I started on it two days ago and been knitting off and on (that is, if I'm not in school or at church). During weekends and laundry day, I'll be able to knit more.

Using: Schoeller + Stahl Fortissima Socka in Black using size 2 (2.75 mm) DPNs. Pattern: Basic Formula for Men's Socks, with slight modifications (such as 1" rib, 1" stockinette).

I hope it doesn't take forever; I want them done by Christmas!

Thuja Socks!

Complete Thuja socks; only changes to the pattern were the shortened leg (from 6 inches to 4).

What I would have changed is the heel and toe; I would have used a different heel and toe stitch so that the wool wouldn't rub on my feet, making them sore. I still like how they turn out, though.

Andean Treasure Shawl

The complete Andean Treasure Shawl. Made with Knit Picks' Andean Treasure on size 6 circulars, this took quite a while to finish due to putting it down and forgetting it for days at a time.

It's nice and warm; it keeps me warm at church if the A/C is on full blast!

Brand New Knitting Blog

As you can tell, this is the new knitting blog.

Don't worry; you'll also see FOs in my LJ, but that's about it. The more details will be shown here instead.
